The New Book Is Out

by | Sep 20, 2022

I’m delighted to report that the new book I was working on getting published is now available. I busted my butt over the last couple of weeks in a mad push to get it completed. Now, finally, it’s here.

To rehash what I stated in my previous blog post, for the most part, it’s a picture book. By that I mean it has the size, texture, and to some degree, the look of a standard comic. However, a free ePub and PDF version is also available.

Below is the promotional copy:

The Fantasy Realms of Penn Fawn, 1st Edition, is a compilation of graphic art meant to introduce readers to the dark fantasy world and novels of the author. It features the characters and exotic places featured in his published novels plus a couple of those that are yet to be released. Expect to find images of gargoyles, angels, plus other mythological figures and dark and exotic locales on the pages inside.

I’ve been advising any potential readers if they get the eBook, to also get the PDF. Why? Because this latest book is meant to be highly pictographic. Devices meant for viewing data on small screens like smart phones, or Kindles, or whatever eReader, simply do not have the same visual impact you’d get if you view the book as it was meant to be viewed. Meaning like how the physical copy looks. In spread formation, like an open book.

You can get that kind of visual depiction if you watch the PDF on a larger device, like a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.

Meanwhile, if you know absolutely nothing about me but happen to be reading this blog, I’m a dark fantasy writer. As to what kind of stuff I write? Well, I was super pleased to see the Google Play store is advertising my books next to writers like George R.R. Martin and J.R.R. Tolkien.

I’m especially pleased with the Tolkien comparison because, as those of you who know me know, he’s a major influence on me.

As always, thanks for reading this blog post, and thanks for your support.

Yes, I do have one, but until recently, I hadn't posted anything there. So, like I said, of late I've been working on it again, and I'm happy to report I now have...

The Missing Afterword

When my latest book, The Underworld, The Fantasy Realms of Penn Fawn, was first released, and it was published in PDF and eBook format, it included an afterword. About two days later, at the suggestion of a friend, I republished it with the afterword removed. Why I did so was because the very...
